    Marine Mammals

The Central Coast is home to amazing marine mammals like dolphins, seals, and migrating whales. These beautiful animals can often be seen along the coastline. They play a big role in our ocean's health and are protected, so we can enjoy them safely and help keep their environment clean.

    Marine Reptiles

Marine reptiles on the Central Coast include sea turtles and sea snakes. These amazing creatures live in our ocean and coastal waters. Sea turtles sometimes come ashore to nest. They are protected, so it's important we look after their habitats and keep our beaches and waterways clean for their survival.

    Marine Birds

Marine birds on the Central Coast, like gannets, shearwaters, and cormorants, spend most of their lives at sea. They dive for fish, ride ocean winds, and nest on coastal cliffs or islands. These birds are part of a healthy ocean, so it’s important to keep their habitats safe and pollution-free.
